Three screens in the office. One on the road.

Business trips, meetings in other cities, trade shows. The work happens in between: reviewing quotes, checking figures, preparing documents for the next meeting. The laptop always comes along. The three screens from the office never do.

On a single screen that means switching. Two documents cannot sit side by side, so you flip back and forth, hunt for the right window and pick the thought up again. That costs time. It also costs accuracy, because comparing two columns of figures from memory instead of seeing them next to each other produces mistakes.

In the office this was solved. On the road it was not. Portable monitors existed, but none I would still have packed after the third flight. So I had one developed. Since then ROVE does exactly one thing: extra screens that travel with you and stand up in seconds.
